Good doggo

My aunt’s and uncle’s Bernese mountaindog, is a good doggo (especially after she’s done freaking out about people arriving, even though she knows them).

A rented a room from someone who had an older sheltie. Wonderful, well-behaved, but was really territorial or something, and I suspect she was starting to get senile, or her senses were getting dull, because she would treat everyone like an attacker who jumped out of nowhere for the first 30 seconds or so before she figured out who you were and that you were okay when you say, came into the house, or left the room she was in for 20 seconds then came back. It was the craziest thing. Growls, teeth bared, ears flat,  tail straight out, barking like crazy, then after talking calmly, saying her name, telling her to be quiet, it was like a light switch and she was suddenly the friendliest dog in the world, and would get all happy-puppy-excited and jump up and give kisses and beg for pets like she totally loves you and you were away way too long and she really really serious missed you. Crazy dog was crazy.
